Niš, treći po veličini grad u Srbiji, nalazi se na jugoistoku zemlje, u dolini reke Nišave, na raskršću važnih istorijskih puteva Balkana. Grad je poznat kao mesto rođenja rimskog cara Konstantina Velikog, ali i po svojoj bogatoj istoriji koja se proteže kroz vekove.
Jedna od glavnih znamenitosti Niša je Niška tvrđava, monumentalna tvrđava iz 18. veka koja danas služi kao kulturni centar i prostor za manifestacije. Značajno istorijsko mesto je i Ćele-kula, jedinstveni spomenik iz Prvog srpskog ustanka, sagrađen od lobanja boraca za slobodu. Ljubitelji istorije mogu posetiti i arheološki lokalitet Medijana, nekadašnju rimsko-carigradsku vilu i rezidenciju Konstantina Velikog.
Niš je poznat i po bogatoj kulturnoj i zabavnoj ponudi. Stari grad, kafići, restorani sa tradicionalnom niškom kuhinjom, kao i festivalska scena, posebno Nišville Jazz Festival, privlače posetioce iz cele zemlje i inostranstva. Ljubitelji prirode mogu uživati u okolnim planinama i rekama, a blizina Svrljig i Niške Banje omogućava opuštanje i rekreaciju.

Niš – the city with a rich history and the spirit of southern Serbia
Niš, the third-largest city in Serbia, is located in the southeast of the country, in the valley of the Nišava River, at the crossroads of important historical routes in the Balkans. The city is known as the birthplace of Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, as well as for its rich history spanning centuries.
One of Niš’s main landmarks is the Niš Fortress, an 18th-century fortress that today serves as a cultural center and venue for various events. Another significant historical site is the Skull Tower (Ćele-kula), a unique monument from the First Serbian Uprising, built from the skulls of fallen freedom fighters. History enthusiasts can also visit the archaeological site of Mediana, once a Roman villa and residence of Constantine the Great.
Niš is also known for its rich cultural and entertainment offerings. The old town, cafés, restaurants with traditional Niš cuisine, and the festival scene, especially the Nišville Jazz Festival, attract visitors from across Serbia and abroad. Nature lovers can enjoy nearby mountains and rivers, while the proximity of Svrljig and Niška Banja allows for relaxation and recreation.

Ниш, третий по величине город в Сербии, расположен на юго-востоке страны, в долине реки Нишавы, на перекрёстке важных исторических путей Балкан. Город известен как место рождения римского императора Константина Великого, а также своей богатой историей, охватывающей столетия.
Одной из главных достопримечательностей Ниша является Нишская крепость, построенная в XVIII веке, которая сегодня служит культурным центром и местом проведения различных мероприятий. Важное историческое место – Башня черепов (Ćele-kula), уникальный памятник Первого сербского восстания, построенный из черепов павших борцов за свободу. Любители истории могут посетить археологический комплекс Медияна, некогда римскую виллу и резиденцию Константина Великого.
